Arwilda Hinson Williams

Arwilda Williams, 88, of Locust, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at her home.

Arwilda was born August 19, 1937 in Union County, North Carolina to the late Henry Jackson Hinson and the late Carrie Mae Hinson. She was also preceded in death by husband, Charles Henry Williams, daughter, Deborah Elaine Hathcock, ten sisters and one brother.

She was a faithful member of Kinza Baptist Church for many years. Arwilda enjoyed working in her flower gardens, sewing, making many different things over the years, and shopping.

She loved singing, she sang with her sisters in church. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.

The family will receive friends from 2pm - 2:45 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3pm, officiated by Rev. Charles Dunevant and Rev. Tab Whiltey. Burial will follow at the Kinza Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery at 4311 Love Mill Rd., Stanfield.

Survivors include son, Dale (Sandy) Williams, granddaughters, Kimberly Hegler, Crystal (Dwight) Watson, Kristin (Nick) Honeycutt; grandson, Kyle (Abbie) Williams; nine great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Blanche Harvell.

The family would like to give a special Thank you to her Hospice caregivers Kim, Stacey, and Megan for the care, love and support provided.
