Arnold Clifford Lewis, 67 years of age, of Mount Pleasant, passed away at home with his family by his side on January 1, 2015.
Mr. Lewis was born September 7, 1947 in North Carolina to the late Helen Lewis Ashburn. He was also preceded in death by brothers Donald Lewis, Richard Ashburn and sister Shirley Poston
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 3, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church 1804 Badin Road in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Lee Shelnutt and Rev. Doug Peterson. The visitation will follow the memorial service for family and friends.
He was a loving husband of 45 years to Rebecca Lewis, also surviving is his son, Randall Lewis of Nevada; daughter, Sonya Andrade and husband Salvador of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Craig, Sean and Shunma Lewis; Helen and husband Michael Beck; Sebastian and Benjamin Andrade; three brothers, Wayne Lewis, Harvey Ashburn, and Joe Ashburn.
He was retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service with the rank of Sgt. First Class and was a veteran of the Vietnam War and Desert Storm.
