Arlene Smith Burleson

Arlene Smith Burleson, 93, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Trinity Place.

Arlene was born August 7, 1930, in North Carolina to the late Moses Alexander Smith and the late Bessie Missouri Jones Smith. 

She was also preceded in death by husband, Charles Craven Burleson; sisters, Elizabeth Stocton and Nancy Smith; and brothers, Horace Smith and Ray Smith.

The graveside service will be on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Canton Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Curtis Williams. Burial will immediately follow at the Canton Baptist Church Cemetery at 24615 Endy Rd, Albemarle.

Survivors include sister, Ruby Pickler of Albemarle, NC and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Canton Baptist Church.
