Archie Lockamy

Archie Harold Lockamy, 84 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at his home. Archie was born November 28, 1929 in Sampson County, NC to the late Bradley D Lockamy and the late Maggie Hinson Lockamy. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bob and Wallace Lockamy. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Friday at 2:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Ken Burris. The burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main Street, Albemarle. At other times the family will be gathering at the home of his son, Tim Lockamy, 611 Moss Springs Rd. in Albemarle. He is survived by his sons, Tim Lockamy and Tommy Lockamy and wife Kelly; two grandchildren, Bryce and Ella Lockamy, and his loving ex-wife, Linda Lockamy.
