Anthony "Tony" Steven Pettit, 66, of Kannapolis, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his home.

Tony was born August 2, 1959 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late William Pettit and Ann Pettit.

Survivors include sister Lynn Starnes husband Russell "Rusty" Starnes, brother William "Mike" Pettit, sister and Catherine "Cathy" Church; nephews Daniel (Kristina) Starnes and Dustin Starnes also niece Christy Church.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Pettit family.
