Anthony Parker

Anthony Matthew Parker, 39 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his parents-in-law's home in Rockwell.

Andy was born June 7, 1975 in Union County to the late Rev. Glenn Edgar Parker and Louise McManus Parker of Oakboro. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Parker; and sister, Shenise Parker.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. The burial will follow at Oakboro Cemetery.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of six years, Ashley Nicole Gilbert Parker of Oakboro; daughter, Anna Marie Parker (16) and Madison Elizabeth Parker (5), both of Oakboro; and sister, Eloise Deese of Stanfield.
