Annie Little

Annie Lee Rushing Little, 88 years of age, of Monroe, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. Annie was born April 19, 1925 in Union County, NC to the late Andrew Jackson Rushing and the late Quintina Baucom Rushing. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Lane Little; grandson, Marcus Austin; seven brothers; and one sister. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm, Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church in Monroe. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm in the church sanctuary, with Rev. Joe Query officiating. The burial will follow the service at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Monroe. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home of her daughter, Judy Austin, 6316 Little Rd. in Monroe. She is survived by her sons, Danny Little and wife Gail of Monroe, Lanny Little and wife Wanda of Monroe; daughters, Judy Austin and husband Richard of Monroe, and Sue Haney and husband Norris of Monroe; brother, Troy Rushing of Monroe; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
