Annie Dennis

Annie Grey Dennis, age 90, of Albemarle, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Trinity Place. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Richard Blount, will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel of Albemarle, on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home of Myron “Bulldog” Kluttz. Mrs. Dennis was born on December 8, 1922, to the late James Ampie Ward and the late Cora Evens Ward. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Dennis in 1973; a son, Darrell Grey Dennis; and three sisters, Vernon White, Lucille Ward and Mabry Dennis. She is survived by two sons, Darren A. Dennis and wife Linda of Oakboro, and “Hoby” B. Dennis, Jr., Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Dennis family.
