Annie Vivian Almond, 88, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Annie was born January 31, 1932 in North Carolina to the late Pearlie Alvin Whitley and the late Myrtle Mozella Whitley. She was also preceded in death by husband, Eugene Harold Almond.
The graveside service will be on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Herrins Grove Church Cemetery in Mount Pleasant officiated by Jeremy Hyde.
Survivors include son, Ronald Almond of Mount Pleasant, NC; daughter, Nancy Phillips and husband Eddie of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Jason Almond and wife Meghan of Stanfield, NC, Amy Peugh of Charlotte, NC, Kimberly Almond of Mount Pleasant, NC, and Katlyn Peugh of Concord, NC; great grandchildren, Caleb Almond, Ethan Almond, and Silas Almond.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Almond family.
