Annie Aldridge

Annie Lee Kirby Aldridge, 91, of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Tucker Hospice House. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 2 until 3 PM. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM in the chapel, with Pastor Larry Morgan and Dr.Tom Snipes officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Annie was born on February 19, 1921 in Gaston County, to the late James Walter and Mamie Newton Kirby. She was also preceded in death by her husband Luther A. Aldridge. She is survived by: daughters, Judith B. McAnulty of Concord; Carol Aldridge, Lori Love and husband Jim ; sister, Ethel Ruckart ; grandchildren, Melia Miller and husband Donnie, Douglas McAnulty, Matt Devaux, David Ratchford, David K. McAnulty, Hannah Love, and Adam Love; great-grandchildren, Elisabeth and husband Chris, Bo, Avery, and Jordan; great-great-grandchild, her namesake, Charlotte Anne Tiller and special friend, Lori Helms.
