Anna Hucks

Anna (Dean) Baucom Coley Hucks, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at First Assembly Living Center in Concord at the age of 80. Mrs. Hucks was born in Union County, NC on July 6, 1932 to the late Justus and Lessie Simpson Baucom. She was also preceded in death by seven siblings, one infant daughter, Annie Marie, and a son, Charles (Chuck) Coley; an infant grandson, Chad Coley, and an infant granddaughter, Tiffney Coley. Mrs. Hucks retired from Eckerd’s warehouse in 1995. As per her request she will be cremated. The family will gather for a receiving of friends and family at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 6 until 8:30 PM. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Coley Greene and husband Tim of Locust; three sons, Larry (Bill) Coley and wife Juanita of Concord, Oscar Leonard Coley and wife Maxine of Concord, and Norman Coley and wife Tracy of Kannapolis; brother, Keith Baucom and sister, Mary Crowell of Union County; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Hucks family.
