Ann Barbara Monroe

Ann Barbara Monroe, 79, of Midland, NC, passed away at home peacefully Friday October 6, 2023.

Ann was born August 13,1944, in Sherburne, New York to the late Joseph Abbott and the late Fannie Rose Abbott.

She was also preceded in death by, Rosemary (Abbott) Brown, Fredrick Abbott, and Anthony (Tony) Abbott.

The family will receive friends and family from 11:00 am-12:45 pm, Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Mercy Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm at Mercy Baptist Church,1010 Brief Rd W Indian Trail, NC 28079, officiated by Frank Jolly.

Survivors include husband, Gordon Monroe of Midland ; sons, Michael (Shannon) Monroe and Gordon Mark Monroe; daughters, Gina Marie Monroe and Joleen Monroe; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Naomi) Monroe, Jessica Monroe, Joshua (Jennifer) Monroe, Samantha (Albert) Gordon, Niko (Danielle) Wingway, Andrea Wingway, Bailey and Ella Walzer; great-grandchildren, Owen, Addison, Elise, A'mya, Aiden, Emmett, Allison, Graham, Travis, Jullian, Cambria, Carrigan, Niko, Taylor, and David.
