Ann Frances Haire Hatley, 87, of Stanly County, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Friday, October 26, 2012, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Ben Wilson and Rev. Jim Yow, will be held at Central United Methodist Church, on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 2:00 pm with a 30 minute state prior to the service. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memories. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her son Bill H. Hatley Jr. DDS, on Bellamy Circle, Albemarle Mrs. Hatley was born on September 2,1925, in Stanly County, to the late William Bryant Haire and the late Mary Frick Haire. She married Bill H. Hatley Sr. on November 12, 1944. He preceeded her in death in 2005. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Maveleen Blake and Macey Lambert; and one brother, Sonny Haire. She is survived by one son, Bill H. Hatley Jr. DDS and wife Kay Russell Hatley of Albemarle; two grandsons, Graham and Neil Hatley of Albemarle; three sisters, Bobbie Hutchins, Betty Hatley and Kaye Dennis and husband Junior Dennis of Albemarle. A member of Central United Methodist Church, Mrs. Hatley graduated from Albemarle High School and retired from Belk after many years as a sales associate. Memorials may be made to Stanly County Hospice, 960 North First St. Albemarle, NC 28001, Stanly County Humane Society, PO Box 1632 Albemarle, NC 28002, Central United Methodist Church, 172 North Second St. Albemarle, NC 2801. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Hatley family.
