Anita Elaine Thomas Starnes, 54 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis.
Anita was born December 13, 1962 in Cabarrus County, NC to Ernest Eugene Thomas and Ashlyn Long Thomas of Concord, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 am, Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jimmie Bartley. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Surviving Anita in addition to her parents is her husband, Randy Lee Starnes of Concord; her sons, Randy Lee Starnes, Jr. of Greensboro and son, Phillip Eugene Starnes of Concord; her daughter, Kimberly Starnes of Concord; five grandchildren, Raeann, Austin, Cameron, Lukas and Brayden.
