Angelina Zorlenzan

Angelina Leone Rizzo Zorlenzan, 86 years of age, of Norwood and previously of Delray Beach, FL and Elmont, NY, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe.

Angie was born August 28, 1929 in New York to the late Anthony Leone and the late Josephine Leone. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Rizzo; second husband, Olympia "Whimpy" Zorlenzan; daughter, Nancy Rizzo-Beer; brother, Patrick Leone; and sister, Mary Quinci.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, September 25, 2015 and 9:00 am - 10:30 am on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral mass will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, officiated by Father Peter Fitzgibbons. The burial will be at a later date in New York. At other times, the family will be gathering at her home.

She is survived by her son, Pete Rizzo and wife Christine of Lilesville; daughters, Joanne Woehlkens and husband George of Norwood, Sandy Rizzo of Albemarle, Kathleen Horsch and husband Patrick of Albemarle; stepson, Pete Zorlenzan, Sr. of Elmont, NY; stepdaughter, Liz Zorlenzan of Pen Argyl, PA; sister, Judy Salvia of Scranton, PA; brother, Frankie Leone of Huntington, NY; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Angie was a member of Daughters of Mary, Forever Young, ECA Fork Club, and Needlebugs at Norwood Library. She was also a faithful member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church. She loved knitting, reading, and spending time with her family. She was also active in water aquatics at the YMCA.
