Albert Johnson

Albert Erwin Johnson, 93, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at The Gardens of Taylor Glen in Concord, NC.

Al was born April 11, 1929, in Ishpeming, MI, to the late Wallace Johnson and the late Jennie Edla Koskela Johnson.  Al was also preceded in death by his first wife, Royce Darlene Johnson; daughter, Rochelle Johnson; and brother, Melvin Johnson.

Al was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 31 years, Carole Elizabeth Johnson of Concord, NC; son, Brandon (Katrina) Johnson, of Nashville, IN; daughter, Robyn (Randy) Roller, of Indianapolis, IN; step-daughter, Dawn (Mark) Shannon, of Charlotte, NC; step-son, Craig (Tammi) Wagner, of Greenwood, IN; grandchildren, Ethan Johnson, Rachel (Kal) Valastek, Ryan (Lauren) Roller, Rhea (Zach) Watson, Renee (Clay) Rackley; step-grandchildren, Sean, Nate, and Jeff Wagner and Mo and Ellie Mow; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.  Al will be laid to rest with military honors at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood, IN.
