Ada Patrick

Ada Linda “Lou” Duty Patrick, 64, of Kannapolis, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Avante’of Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 11 until 12 Noon. Funeral Services will follow in the chapel at Noon, with Rev. Gary Posey officiating. Burial will be at Salisbury National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 30th. Lou was born on April 27, 1948 in Cabarrus County, to the late Harden and Ruby Rimer Duty. She was also preceded in death by brother John Duty and sister Gaynelle Williams. She is survived by her husband, David E. Patrick, Sr. of the home; son, David Patrick, Jr. of Denver, CO; daughter, Linda Michelle Miller and husband Robert of Mt. Ulla; brothers, C.H. Duty of Concord, Frank Duty of Concord, Tony Duty of Denton, Tommy Duty of OK; sister, Lillie “Sis” Kee of Kannapolis, Martha Benton of Concord, Mary Jane Morgan of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Devin Michael Jared Patrick, Joshua P. “J.P.” Miller.
