Aaron Barbee

Aaron R. Barbee, age 67, of Locust, N.C., died Sunday, August 2, 2009, at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, N.C. Barbee was retired as the owner/operator of Industrial Door Sales and was a member of First Baptist Church, Locust He was the son of the late Atlas Barbee and the late Bessie (Morgan) Barbee. He is also survived by his daughter, Jill (B.) Haisley and husband, Paul of Charlotte, NC; son, Mark Aaron Barbee and wife, Robin of Locust, NC; sister, Juanita Carpenter of Albemarle, NC; brother, Wilson Barbee of Locust, NC; and former wife, Judith B. Barbee of Locust, NC. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church Of Locust at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 5, 2009, Dr. Rev. Kinney Wallace officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
