William Starnes

William Bright Starnes, 88, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Clear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mint Hill after a long battle of Alzheimer's.

Mr. Starnes was born April 13, 1931 in North Carolina to the late Floyd William Starnes and the late Mary Starnes.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 23 from 5:30 -7 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. A private cremation burial will be held at a later time per the Starnes family at Oakwood Cemetery.

Survivors include daughter, Sherri Linker of Concord, NC, daughter, Shelia Colvard of Concord, NC. Also, grand-daughter's Amy Simpson, Amanda Prevette, grand-son's Gerald Faulkner, Derek Linker, and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flower memorial's may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Starnes family.
