Thomas Green

Thomas Allen Green, of Mt. Pleasant, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 28th 2018 at Tucker Hospice House of Cabarrus County.

He was born October 14, 1935 to the late Clarence and Odella Green. He is also preceded in death and now reunited with his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Green, his brother Oscar Green, and his sister Frances Ritch.

He is survived by sons Michael Green of Rockwell and Tracy Green (Debbie) of Kannapolis; Granddaughters, Amanda Krout (Joshua) of Kannapolis and Courtney Sandberg (Casey) of Kannapolis; Brother, Clarence Green of Kannapolis; Sister Mary Alice Hartman of Concord; and two great-grand babies, Berklee & Sydnee Krout.

The family will receive friends from 12 - 1 pm Friday, June 1, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, NC with the funeral service taking place immediately after in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, 3892 Hwy 73 E, Concord, NC 28025. Pastor Mickey Howard will be officiating the service.

Tom loved his family and his church. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in his name to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 16122 St Martin Rd, Oakboro, NC 28129.
