Terry Mullis

Terry Lee Mullis, 73, of Concord, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home.

Terry was born April 24, 1944 in Union County to the late Earnest Bruce Mullis and the late Dorothy Violet Isenhour Mullis. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Ann Bennett; and infant brother, J.B. Mullis.

The family will receive friends from  11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service to celebrate his life will follow at 1 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest at West Concord Cemetery, 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Margie Marie Biggers Mullis of the home; son, Terry "Delane" Mullis and wife Dawn of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Shelia Marie Mullis of Concord; grandchildren, Delane and Bill Mullis of Mt. Pleasant and Zachery Eaton; brothers, William Haskell Mullis and wife Barbara of Kannapolis, Ira Jay Mullis and wife Judy of Concord; beloved pet, Shado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed fishing, bird watching, and playing with his dog, Shado.
