Steven Scull

Steven Wade Scull, 47, of Concord, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019.

Steve was born May 8, 1972 in Olean, New York to the late Billy Franklin Scull, Sr. and Catherine Marie Hoffman Scull.  He was also preceded in death by his loving Corgi, Isabella Grace.

Steve was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served as a military policeman. He spent the majority of his career afterwards in the printing industry working for Buchanan Printing for over 19 years.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and trout fisherman. Steve lived life to the fullest. He loved live music, traveling, cooking, and a good IPA.  Steve was a dedicated and loving father. His two boys were his world and he made it clear he was very proud of them. He was a devoted and loving husband who dedicated himself to his wife and their happiness together.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish Steve's life include beloved wife, Karen Clouse Scull; sons, Brayden and Clayton Scull of Greensboro, NC; brother, Billy Scull, Jr. and wife, Linda, of Seffner Florida; brother, Thomas Scull and wife, Valerie, of Brownwood, TX and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Friday, October 11, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Brian Copeland.  Burial with military honors will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill.
