Stephen Koloditch

Steve  Koloditch, 69, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at home Monday, February 12, 2018, after fighting cancer for five and half years.

Steve was a son of the late Peter and Mary Stella Koloditch.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie; son, Michael Koloditch (Adrienne); daughter, Niki English (Jeff); three grandchildren, Dylan, Rilyn, and Emilia Koloditch; brothers, Peter Koloditch Jr.(Nealeen) and James Koloditch (Lynn).  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve was happiest when he was with family and friends. He loved the NC mountains, football, traveling and camping. He was the owner of  Protection Technology Inc. for over thirty years and also a proud Air Force veteran during Vietnam.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 12115 University City Blvd, Harrisburg, NC 28075. Burial will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank, 500 Spratt St B, Charlotte, NC 28206, Hospice and Palliative Charlotte Region, 420 E 7th St, Charlotte, NC 28204, or to Charlotte Rescue Mission, 907 W 1st Street, Charlotte, NC  28202.
