Shirley Coleman

Shirley Ann Brothers Coleman, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Olde Knox Commons at The Village of Mecklenburg in Huntersville.

Shirley was born April 6, 1936 in Norfolk, New York to the late Julius T. Brothers and Gladys McClure. She was first married to Stirling Basil Britton on January 26, 1957 in Cornwall, Ontario until his passing on August 4, 1993.

Shirley loved the Lord Jesus Christ and is finally walking with Him in Heaven! She was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother and will be celebrated at a graveside ceremony Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, North Carolina.

Survivors include husband, James Luther Coleman (married on August 21, 1999 in Concord, NC); son, Terry Basil (Heather) Britton of Harrisburg, NC, two granddaughters, Amanda Nicole Britton and Morgan Christian (Adam) Mulchi; step-children Retha Coleman and Lisa (Bill) Hinson and parents of grandson Adam Hinson and his daughter McKenzie Hinson.
