Sharon Jordan

Sharon Hope Sides Jordan, 76, of Linwood, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center.

Sharon was born April 1, 1943 in Concord to the late Sylvester O. Sides and the late Rellie Mae Sides.  She was also preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Wayne Sides.

Sharon had worked as a dietitian at Sealevel Nursing Home and later as Food Service Director at YMCA, Lexington.  She loved her flower garden and cooking.  Sharon was a talented pianist and decorator.  She enjoyed her crosswords and Sudoku.  Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Survivors include beloved husband of 33 years, Sam Jordan of Linwood; daughter, Lynn H. (Steve) Waters of Kenly; son, Jeff Hammonds of Lexington; son, Sam (Tammy) Jordan of Lakeland, FL; daughter, Kim Jordan of Winston-Salem; son, Chris Jordan of Mt. Airy; 12 grandchildren, Timmy, Owen, Karen, Kelli, Zhade, Zach, Austin, Jordan, Jeff, Jake, Daniel and Ellie; and 17 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 8, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord.  Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis.
