Ruby Collette

Ruby Virginia Collette, 97, of Concord, NC went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Five Oaks Manor in Concord.

Ms. Collette was born September 16, 1921 in Concord, NC to the late Marshall Shoe and the late Idell Readling Shoe. She was also preceded in death by her husband Brownie Garfield Collette; as well as two sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Sue Nantz and husband Jeff of Concord, NC; grandsons Keith Nantz and wife Erin, and John Nantz and wife Patricia; great grandchildren Shelby Nantz, Kayla Nantz, Noah Nantz and Jacob Nantz.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. James E. Collier.  Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis.
