Robert "Bob" Smith

Robert "Bob" Lee Smith, 74, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 2, 2018. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Bessie and Robert; his brother, Virgil L. Smith; and his infant son, Davey.

Those who will continue to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Evy; his son, Rob and daughter-in-law, Michelle; as well as the rest of his family.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Frederick Merry and Pastor Mike Thevenin. Burial will be at a later date.
