Phyllis Clark

Phyllis Dennis Clark, 77 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her home in Albemarle.

Mrs. Clark was born in Stanly County to the late Henry Faye Dennis and the late Jettie Mae Chandler Dennis. She was also preceded in death by her brothers,  Rev. Larry Dennis and Rev Jessie Dennis; and sisters, Margaret Hicks and Louise Burris.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1309 Old Charlotte Road in Albemarle officiated by Rev Joe Smith. Burial will follow at the Norview Gardens at 949 Pee Dee Avenue, Norwood.

Survivors include husband of 55 years, Roger Clark of Albemarle; sons, Billy Keith Clark and wife Lori and Tony Dean Clark and Cynthia Merritt; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brother, Rev, Bob Dennis; and sisters, Helen Sasser and Irene Jeffries.
