Paul Garmon

Paul Andrew Garmon, 74, of Norwood, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Garmon was born April 27, 1944 in Rowan County to the late Leroy Garmon and the late Lillie Mae Talbert Garmon. He was also preceded in death by sisters Dolly Herbert and Sadie Carter.

Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed making walking canes.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM -10:45 AM, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Norview Gardens in Norwood.

Survivors include wife of 32 years, Margaret Garmon; daughters, Joey Poplin (Mickey), Wendy Eudy (Alan), Christy NeCaise (Brian), and Lesley Smith; grandchildren, Bobby and Tyler Poplin, Chase and Cassie Eudy, Shana and Sydnee Helms, Joshua Smith, Michael Bailey, and Meghan Hardy; and six great grandchildren; brother, Roy Garmon; and sisters, Juanita Yow and Erma Deal.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
