Patrick Wayne Mcphatter

Wayne McPhatter, 81, of Midland, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his home.

Wayne was born October 22, 1938 in Cabarrus County to the late Willard McPhatter, Sr. and the late Helen Jones McPhatter.

Wayne was a jokester and had a dry wit. He loved everyone and encouraged them to feel good about themselves. Wayne enjoyed singing and loved anything related to Notre Dame.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Bethel United Methodist Church, 12700 Idlebrook Road in Midland officiated by Rev. Mark Clontz. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall after the burial.

Survivors include wife, Rosemary McPhatter of Midland; sister, Norma Vaughn and husband John of Hickory; brothers, Noel McPhatter and wife Vickie of Matthews and Willard McPhatter, Jr and wife Jeanie of Matthews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
