Nellie Foreman

Nellie D. Foreman, 72, of Norwood, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Foreman was born December 20, 1945 in Stanly County to the late George F. Dixon and the late Regina Ott Dixon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Brack Foreman; brother, Floyd Calvin Dixon; and sister Mary Jo Goss.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 27, 2018  at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Silver Springs Baptist Church at 16072 NC 138 Hwy, Norwood officiated by Rev. Mark Little. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include daughters, Cindy Wallace Brown of Oakboro and Darlene Tew of Raleigh; sons, Todd Foreman and wife Misty of Norwood and Bryan Foreman and Jessica Hunt of Norwood;  grandchildren, Tiffany Honeycutt and husband Billy of Oakboro, Jerry Dale Wallace of Oakboro, Ashley Wallace Mclester and husband Matt of Locust, Victoria Rabon of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lindsey Ann Foreman of Norwood, Savannah Leigh Duncan of Norwood, Taylor Elizabeth Foreman of Norwood and Jerry Tyler Foreman of Norwood; seven great grandchildren; and brother, Franklin M. Dixon of Norwood.
