Mary Crisco

Mary Ruth Crisco, 92, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle.

Mrs. Crisco was born November 8, 1926 to the late John Clarence and Minnie Mauldin Austin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Charles Crisco, daughter, Marilyn Kay Snuggs and Mary Ruth's brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 3:30 pm, located  at First Assembly of God, 1501 NC 24/27 Bypass West, Albemarle, officiated by Rev. Robert "Bob" Gruver and Rev. Steve Barbee. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include: son, Eugene (Betsy) Crisco; daughter, Sybil (John) Apsega; son, Jerry Lee (Debra) Crisco,  grandchildren, Rick Lowder, Chuck Crisco, Rodney Crisco, Corey Crisco, Rusty Snuggs, Stephen Snuggs, Emily Elkins, Wendy Medlin; 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly church of God, 1501 NC 24/27 Bypass West, Albemarle, NC. 28001 or The Gleaning Mission Church, 21413 E. 8th Street, Oakboro, NC. 28129.
