Marie Dorsey

Marie Theresa Dorsey, 74, of Charlotte, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

Marie was born November 5, 1943 in District of Columbia to the late Raymond A. Lyons and the late Rose Urquhart.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will be on Friday at 10:00 am at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at the St. James Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include her three children, two daughter-in-laws, a sister and eight grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to one of the following charities that Marie supported;  the Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte, ccdoc.org, or the American Fund for Children of AIDS, AFCAIDS.org.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg is serving the Dorsey family.
