Margie Eury

Margie Ruth Eury, 86 years of age, of Concord, NC went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 5, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Margie was born February 28, 1932 in Statesville, NC to the late Samuel Marcus Marlowe and the late Willie Marie Readling Marlowe. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Lee Watson Marlowe and Samuel Marcus Marlowe, Jr., as well as her husband Rev. Walter Eury, and great grandson Joseph Gerdes.

Survivors include her daughters Rhonda Eudy and husband Robert; Lesa Andrews and husband Chip; Amy Kerley and Brad Kerley; son, Kelly Eury and wife Kristi; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and sister Louise Shuffler and husband Bill.

Margie loved her family dearly.  She loved her Lord and His light shone through her to everyone she met.  Margie will be truly missed by all those who's life she touched.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Jim Howard.  Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
