Jessie Tarlton

Jessie Baucom Tarlton, 89, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Tarlton was born July 16, 1929 in Union County to the late Robert Lee Baucom and the late Beadie Jane Hinson Baucom.  She was also preceded in death by husband, Dallas Raeford Tarlton and brothers, Don and Albert Baucom.

Survivors include daughters, Wanda (Delane) Mullis of Monroe and Janice (Ira) Meggs of Marshville; sons, Steve (Mary) Tarlton of Monroe, Tim (Nikki) Tarlton of Surfside Beach, SC; ten loving grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Gale) Baucom, Morris (JoAnne) Baucom; and sister, Jo Ann (Neal) Connell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2018 at Shiloh Advent Christian Church, Monroe, with Rev. Travis Hutcheson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the church fellowship hall.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
