James "Jimmy" Tyree

James "Jimmy" Verlon Tyree, 49 years of age, of Midland, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

"Jimmy" was born August 18, 1968 in Cabarrus County to Verlon Tyree and the late Camilla Naomi Hartsell.  He was also preceded in death by step-father, Bobby Hartsell; grandmother, Sadie Furr; and uncle JD Furr.

The family will have a service at a later date.

Survivors include brother, Scott (Carla) Tyree of Oakboro; father, Verlon Tyree of OH; two nephews, Jacob and AJ Tyree; niece, Katie Tyree; and two great-nieces, Kailyn and Nevaeh
