James Burnette

James "Wesley" Burnette, 75, of Midland, NC passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Wesley was born January 11, 1943 in Concord, NC to the late Reubon James Burnette and the late Rachel Lynn Burnette.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm, Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Donald Lisk.  Burial will follow at the Love's Grove UMC Cemetery at 4360 Polk Ford Road in Stanfield.

Survivors include his wife Nancy Medlin; daughter, Leslie Cassells and husband Jimmy; daughter Mandy Burnette; daughter Jamie Burnette; grandchildren Cole, Sierra and Josie; great grandson Rhett; and his sister Shirley Haigler and husband Louie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wesley's memory to Hartsell Funeral Home.  Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Burnette family.
