Eric David Hooks, 51, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his home in Concord.
Eric was born August 13, 1967, to the late David Lee and Peggy Morgan Hooks. He was also preceded in death by grandparents; Lee Roy and Maggie Hinson Hooks, and grandparents Walter and Annie McGraw Morgan.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm - 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 9th at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 3pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Jeffery Rushing .
Survivors include; daughter Nicole Rankin (Wyatt), Grandson; William Rankin, sisters; Sonia Hooks Gentle(Jimmy) of Concord, Leigh Ellen Blalock (Ronnie) of Albemarle, and brother Perry Childers of Albemarle.
