Edwin “Shaker” Dean Pepper, Jr. 54 of Concord, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at his residence.
He was born December 22, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edwin Dean Pepper, Sr. and Joy Pepper.
Shaker was known first as a family man who loved his wife, Tina and his children. His family meant
everything to him. He also loved sports and all sports related activities. He enjoyed all things water
related, whether that included fishing on the lake, the beach, or “inspecting” pools; and was an avid
griller. Shaker was a born salesman and a real people person. He was loved and appreciated by his
customers and all who knew him. He was a member of the Pitts Baptist Church in Concord.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Pepper; his sons, Dr. Luke Pepper (Samantha), Nick Pepper; daughter,
Morgan Pepper (fiancé); grandson, Greyson; mother, Joy Pepper and step-father, Rex Sampson; sister,
Sissy Fales (Doug); mother-in-law, Carol Ingraham; sister-in-law, Tammy Spainhour (Tony); brother-in-
law, Mike Hall. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews and a
host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Pitts
Baptist Church located at 140 Pitts School Road in Concord. The memorial service will follow in the
sanctuary at 2:00 pm and will be officiated by Rev. Kevin Seger.
