Dora Faulkner

Dora Geneva Corne Faulkner, 87, of Norwood, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at  her home.

Mrs. Faulkner was born March 22, 1932 in South Carolina to the late Virgil M. Corne Sr. and the late Dora Geneva Corne. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Derl Hampton Faulkner, Sr. and eleven brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 11:00 am, located at First Baptist Church of New London,officiated by Pastor Brandon King. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Survivors include:daughter, Dianne Shore; son, Derl "Butch" Hampton Faulkner, Jr.and wife Kimberley; son, Tommy Lee Faulkner and wife Molly; son, Terry "Tury" Faulkner; daughter, Becky Troutman and husband T.L.; eleven grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
