Donna Hathcock

Donna Elizabeth Hathcock, 64, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Accordius Health of Salisbury in Salisbury.

Mrs. Hathcock was born July 12, 1955 to the late Joseph Lee Whitley Sr. and the late Phyllis Rebecca Barringer Whitley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bain Hathcock, Jr; son, Jeremy Dewayne Hathcock; daughter, Donna Lynn Hathcock; brothers, Joseph Lee Whitley, Jr, Phillip Whitley, baby Whitley; sisters, Barbara Pinkston, Vivian Whitley, Linda Turner.

Donna enjoyed playing the piano, singing and praising her Lord. She was also an avid Carolina Tarheel fan and was a loving friend to all that knew her.

Donna will be buried on Monday, October 14, 2019, at 10:00 am, at Fairview Memorial Park, 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019, at 11:00 am, at Plyler Baptist Church in Albemarle.

Survivors include: brother, Tommy (Linda) Whitley of New London; brother, John (Kathy) Whitley of New London; sister, Lisa (Randy) Liles of New London; brother, Paul  Whitley of New London; sister, Julie (Randy) Shue of New London; sister, Teresa (Roger) Layton of Albemarle; sister, Debbie Eury of Albemarle; sister, Rita (Thomas) Simpson of Albemarle; grandchildren, Caleb, Riley, Katelynn and Hailey Hathcock, Joseph and Christopher Cato, Sandy and Santana Smith; special friend Angelita Taylor.

Memorials may be made to The Community Inn, 510 S. 1st Street, Albemarle, to help the homeless in Donna's honor.
