Dewey Lambert

Dewey (Bud) Lambert, 92, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 28, 2019 at his home in Albemarle.

Mr. Lambert was born April 23, 1927 to the late Dewey Lambert and the lateMattie Eudy Lambert Honeycutt. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Louise C. Lambert and by several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Lambert enjoyed being with his big family.  He was a veteran of the US Army and was the recipient of the WWII Victory Medal.  He was a  simple man and enjoyed the simple things of life.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, September 30, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Tab Whitley.  Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Survivors include son, Lamar Lambert; 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and 3 sisters.
