David Kiser

David Manuel Kiser, 86, of Concord, passed away at home Saturday, March 23, 2019 in Concord with his family by his side.

Manuel was born April 11, 1932 in North Carolina to the late David Eugene Kiser and the late Grace Belle Kiser. He was also preceded in death by wife, Patsy Jo Kiser. He was the owner and operator of A-1 Mini Storage, Lamplighter Mobile Home Park, and Kiser Christmas Tree Farm.  He was a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean Conflict, and was a member Boger's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Sharon (Tony) Deal of Concord, NC, son, Gary (Joyce) Kiser of Concord, NC, grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer) Kiser, grandchildren, Paul (Heather) Kiser, grandchildren, Deana (Will) Henderson, grandchildren, Darren (Maria) Baucom, grandchildren, Adam (Deanna) Stallings, great-grandchildren, 6, sister, Pernia Sweet of Faith, NC, sister, Mary Grace Burris of Concord, NC, sister, Angela McDonald of Mt. Pleasant, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, March 25, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord in Concord officiated by Rev. Roxanne Almond, Rev. Chuck Hensley. Burial will follow at the Cold Springs United Methodist Cemetery at 2550 Cold Springs Road, Concord.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Kiser's caregivers; JoAnna Kittle, Summer Thomasee, Deborah Barnes, and Linda Pope.
