Clifford Mauldin

Clifford Ray Mauldin, 73, of Mt. Gilead, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Ray was born November 18, 1946 in North Carolina to the late Clifford Ray Mauldin Sr. and the late Margaret Mauldin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Diane Elizabeth Furr.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Mauldin, of the home; sister, Patricia Mauldin Biggers of Albemarle; sons, Michael Mauldin of Wilson NC and William Varner of Norwood; daughter, Tammy Marks and husband Scottie of White Lake NC; eight grandchildren; Manda McGill and husband Taylor, Courtney Hinson, Greycen Mauldin, Sarah Varner, Cameron Varner, Tanna Whitley, Austin and Kevin Page; and four great-grandchildren, Reign, Arabella, Paislee, Braylin and one due in May 2020.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm, also at Hartsell Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Glenn Shelton and Pastor Mark Harper. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle.
