She started her education at Bain Elementary School, Mint Hill, NC in 1950 and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC in 1962.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Eudy since their marriage on April 1, 1962; oldest son, Mark Stevenson Eudy and wife, Angela Lois Fowler Eudy, of Midland and their two children:  Jeremy Stevenson Eudy and Mary Alisha Eudy; and Trinette Reuschlein Eudy and youngest child through Jeff, Charli Elizabeth Eudy from Midland; and two older daughters through Jeff's first marriage,  Kristen Nichole Eudy Melvin and husband, Robert, of Leland, NC, and Lauren Michelle Eudy of Harrisburg.

Carolyn's siblings include three sisters,  Betty Deloris Linker Birmingham of Belmont, and her late husband Leroy; the late Marolyn Jane Linker Efird, and her late husband, Robert of Wadesboro; Jeanette Dean Linker Larsen and her husband, Pete Larsen from Mint Hill; one brother Larry Ronnie Linker of Mint Hill.

She attended Arlington Baptist Church in Mint Hill from around 8 years of age until 2004 when moving her membership to Lakeview Baptist Church in Monroe, NC.  She had a heart for mission work that included taking her to Belarus (in eastern Europe) two times (1997 & 2007) to help children from the 1986 nuclear power explosion of Chernobyl and worked through the American Belarussian Relief Organization (ABRO).  She went to two Native American Indian reservations (2001) to help do Vacation Bible School and tell the children about Jesus.  She went to Algeria, Africa two times (2003 & 2004) into refugee camps of the Saharawi children who have been victims of war since 1975 and helped to hand out Samaritan's Purse-Operation Christmas Child (SP-OCC) shoeboxes to children through Teach the Children International from OK.  She went to Cape Town, South Africa (2005) to work with children to help them know about Jesus.  She traveled to Israel (1993, 1996 & 1998) to walk the steps where Jesus walked and loved the Holy Land of Jerusalem.

Carolyn spent her time serving the Lord from 1992 to 2004 on different committees of the Mecklenburg Baptist Association of churches, which included being on their Finance Committee, holding the Secretary title to the Board of Directors, and working in and through the Women's Missionary Union group of ladies.  She worked with the Women on Mission of WMU but her heart was in serving and coordinating the yearly International Festivals for the 40-plus language church in Mecklenburg County for four years.

Her work experience includes working in large companies starting with Singer Sewing Machine Company's sales office in Charlotte in 1962 and Thurston Motor Lines.  She worked for two large companies spanning a 30-year period of time doing clerical and administrative work through North Carolina National Bank (which later was known as Bank of America) and Southern Bell (which later was called AT&T).  She worked a short period of time at Charlotte's First Baptist Church in downtown Charlotte and Lakeview Baptist Church in Monroe.  She also worked for six seasons doing data entry and other jobs at Samaritan's Purse-OCC and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association when the company headquarters moved to Charlotte in 2003 and had the privilege of meeting both Dr. Billy Graham and Rev. Franklin Graham.  She was a Promotional Partner for promoting to all  churches to get involved in the shoebox ministries through SP-OCC.

Carolyn's hobbies over the years included sewing, making cut-and-pierced lampshades, toll painting, dimensional painting, candle wicking, ceramics and reading the Bible.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 12:45 pm, at Lakeview Baptist Church, 4602 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC on Saturday, August 24, 2019.  A funeral service will follow at 1:oo pm with Reverend Steve Jirgal officiating.  The burial will conclude at Arlington Baptist Church, 9801 Arlington Church Road, Charlotte, NC., officiated by Rev. Rick Whittier.

Memorials may be made to the church of your choice with monies going to promote mission ministries, or to your favorite charity, or to your favorite organization as they work to "find the cure" for the disease you support financially or by prayer.
