Brenda Calloway

Brenda Burleson Calloway, 73 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Calloway was born November 12, 1944 in Stanly County to the late James Everette Burleson and the late Effie Drake Burleson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Burris.

The family will receive friends from  6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Jeremy Holt.

Survivors include husband, William "Bill" Calloway of Albemarle; daughter, Lisa Ann Johnson of Albemarle; son, Mark Cochran; sisters,  Elvene Bowers, Blondell Moore, and Vicki Diggs; and brother, Eddie Burleson.
