Bobby Taylor

Bobby Lane Taylor, 66, of Oakboro, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Taylor was born August 20, 1951 in Stanly County  to the late Glenn Coolidge Taylor and the late Mae Belle Taylor. He was also preceded in death by brother, Homer Lee Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM, Monday, May 14, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel.

Survivors include wife, Laurena Hutto-Taylor of Oakboro; son, Davy Lane Taylor and wife Ashley; daughter, Jennifer Taylor Efird; step son, Michael Marthers and wife Karen; grandson, Dalton Lane Schlichting; granddaughter, Taya Jade Schlichting;  sisters, Glenda Roberson and Sue Clontz; and brothers, Larry Taylor, Harold  Taylor, Ronnie Taylor; and Tommy Taylor.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Taylor family.
