Betty Plott

Betty Jean Snipes Plott, 89, of Concord, NC went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born May 2, 1930 in Concord, NC to the late Walter James Snipes and the late Sarah Geranium McClamrock Snipes.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers Preston and Hoyt Snipes, as well as her sister Phyllis Wood.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Joe Link Plott of the home; son Wayne Plott and wife Carolyn; son Doug Murph and wife Miranda; son Philip Murph and wife Charlene; daughter Carol McAnulty and husband Sherrill; daughter Luanne Michael and husband Donny; daughter Penny Weaver and husband Lewis; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; brother Tom Snipes and wife Martha; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by her son Pastor Philip Murph of Son Room Ministries.  Burial will follow at the West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
