Arce Carroll

Arce Ames Litaker Carroll, 91, of Concord, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House of Cabarrus County, surrounded by loving family.

Mrs. Carroll was born January 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Fetzer and Eldora Barnhardt Litaker.
She was also preceded in death by brother, Billy Ray Litaker, and sister Geneva Earnhardt.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 am - 11:00 am, Monday, June 4, 2018 at St. James The Greater Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am, officiated by Father Jerome Chavarria. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery at 421 Church Street in Concord.

She is survived  by two daughters, Vickie Wensil (Henry) of Stanfield and Patricia Walker (David) of Locust; two sons, Darrell (Betsy) Carroll of Harrisburg and Carson Carroll ( Kathy) of Concord; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, as well as many loving cousins, nephews, nieces, and caring neighbors.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mary's Visitors at St. James Catholic Church of Concord, or Tucker Hospice House of Kannapolis.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of Arce's caregivers, both at home and at Tucker Hospice House.
