Annie Wishon

Annie Mae Wishon, 98, of Concord, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Mrs. Wishon was born December 22, 1920 in Stanly County to the late Benjamin Whitley and the late Mary Jane Morton Whitley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Franklin Wishon; son, Bobby Ray Wishon; and grandson, David Michael Wishon.

Mrs. Wishon loved her friends and her church where she was a member at McGill Baptist Church. Annie's interests included the Adult Coloring Book and Word Search.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord officiated by Rev. Steve Ayers and Rev. Allen Scott. Burial will follow the service at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Smith and husband, Ted of Albemarle; two grandchildren, Ted L. Smith, II and wife, Judy, and Bobby Wishon, Jr.; eight great grandchildren, and thirteen great great grandchildren.
